Technical art analysis
Our in-house lab prepares for conservation treatments but can also be called upon for questions of provenance, dating and authentication.
We can use either non-invasive techniques such as multispectral imaging (UV, IRR, X-ray, VIS, RAK, Macro XRF,) or invasive techniques with different microscope techniques and cross-sections (SEM-EDX, FT-IR microscopy, POL-microscopy, UV-microscopy).
All imaging is open to consultation by clients at all times through a secured log-in accessing our curtain viewer app enabling different images to be compared and superposed in one click.
